AUTUMN PICKLES.......................
??... WHO...??
How did Autumn Pickles get her name? We were awaiting a call from the farm where her dam was staying, to let us know when our cria was born. We were naming her Autumn. (Never mind a boy name, we were thinking pink!) The phone rang and I was excited to see it was the call we were waiting for. Alas, the call was not cria news, but a request for some of my home made pickles on our next visit. As I got the pickles the phone rang again. With a jar of pickles in hand, we answered. The cria had arrived! And all I could think of were the pickles! So Autumn Pickles was named on that nice autumn 'pickle' day.
TBirthdate: 9/21/2007 Heritage: Full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo ARI# 31016308 Color: Dark Fawn | Pickles' first breeding was to MFI Cactus Jack, producing a beautiful light fawn cria we named Good Earth's JackPot. His fiber is becoming more luscious every day, with beautiful structure, shine, and staple length. For her 2011 cria, Pickles was bred to the fantastic multi champion SA Black Epic - Full Peruvian, ARI# 818390, true black. Black Epic's offspring have won at least 57 championships/blue ribbons, a true test that this animal produces quality. Epic extends his uniformity of micron, brightness, color, and show-stopping style in his crias. On 6/14/2011 She delivered a stunning 18.3 lb. brown male cria. Mom and cria are happy and healthy. |
